The premise
A kitchen is not a floor plan. It is a room that behaves.
At 7am it should be quiet, bright and out of your way. At 9pm it should be low, warm and the best place in the house to stand with a glass of wine. Most kitchens can only manage one of those. We design for both, and for the eleven hours in between.

Light as a material
Four independent lighting states, set on scenes. The room you cook in and the room you entertain in are the same room wearing different clothes.

Nothing you don't touch
No handles you don't need, no appliance faces you didn't ask for. Everything that isn't used every day disappears behind joinery.

Stone chosen in person
We bring slabs to your house, not photographs to a showroom. Veining is a composition decision and it should be made in your own light.

We fly to the quarry. You choose the block.
For projects above $250,000 we will take you to Carrara, or bring three full slabs to your driveway — whichever you would rather. Either way the stone is chosen as a whole composition, and the veining is laid out on paper before a single cut is made.
How we work with stone
The method
Five chapters.
One principal from the first conversation to the last. You will never be handed to a project manager you have not met.
The session
Two hours at your home, at dusk, because that is when a kitchen's lighting problems reveal themselves. We leave with measurements and you leave with a written investment band.
The film
Rather than a floor plan, we produce a short walkthrough of your kitchen as it will be — lighting states, materials, sightlines. Most clients watch it a dozen times before approving.
The materials
Slabs and finishes come to your house. Nothing is decided under showroom lighting, and nothing is decided in one sitting.
The build
Cabinetry from our Italian and local partners, installed by one crew. Condo boards, elevator windows and COIs are handled by us, not by you.
The reveal
We stage, light and photograph the room, then hand you the lighting scenes on your phone. Punch list closed within ten days.

How much does a luxury kitchen remodel cost in Miami?
An Obsidian kitchen runs $150,000 to $450,000. The band is set by how much structure moves, whether cabinetry is European-imported or built locally, and the stone. Waterfront and high-rise projects sit at the upper end because of access, HOA requirements and hurricane-rated glazing.
How long does a high-end kitchen remodel take in Miami?
Six to nine months. Design and material curation take eight to twelve weeks, imported cabinetry runs fourteen to twenty weeks from Italy, installation is eight to twelve weeks. Condo and HOA approval in Miami-Dade typically adds four to six weeks, which we run in parallel with design rather than after it.
Do you work in high-rise condominiums?
Yes — roughly half our work is in Brickell, Bal Harbour and Key Biscayne towers. We handle the building application, the certificate of insurance, elevator scheduling and the noise-window restrictions that most contractors discover in week two.
